Hazina is a small, petite, female Grant's zebra, a member of the herd of zebras led by Abasi. She lives in Lerai Forest, Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania.

Physical appearance

Hazina is a tall, sturdy female zebra, with rounded shapes and tapering nose and legs. Her eyes are hazel brown in colour, and her robe is typically striped according to the standard of her species, with bands of white hair alternating bands of dark brown. She has a mole-like spot under her right eye.

Personality

Reserved and quiet, Hazina rarely gives confidence to strangers, and prefers the friendship and company of her herd over the gazelles. However, if the situation requires it, she doesn't deny her help to Paa and Nadira. Hazina is rather soft-spoken and tends to stick close to a selected group of zebras, among which, Abasi occupies the first place. She admires him for his strength and she is proud of being considered his mate. For this reason, she tends to avoid speaking to other males, especially to Kafil, whom she cannot stand very much.
