Paa is a tall, lithe, nervous Thomson's gazelle, a member of Nadira's herd and a resident of Lerai Forest in Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania. He is Nadira's son.
Physical appearance[]
Paa is a very slim, long-legged Thomson's gazelle. He has a long neck and a small head, with a bump at the tip of his nose. His small ears are rounded, and he had one long jagged horn and the other is a broken stump.

Personality[]
In harmony with his species' nature, Paa is a very fearful gazelle. He is clumsy, intolerant and easily started, but most importantly, impatient. His attitude clashes greatly with that of his mother, and makes him look fragile and vulnerable at times. Constantly alert and on watch for predators, Paa is terrified of leopards, and in particular, of Africa. When she tried to befriend him as a youngster, he openly refused and did not show himself as enthusiastic as his mother and is not afraid to fight to protect who he loves.
